I can't wait to divorce my husband. He bores me to death. I need to hold on a few more years. Then I will have my freedom and alimony for life. I just want my life back. i'm tired of being in a celibate marriage. I'm tired of being with someone I have nothing in common with. The only good thing that came out of our marriage are our children. I love my son and my daughter so much. Other then my kiddos I wish I never married this man. He is such a loser. I need to get healthy and I need to get my life back.

Preparing Myself Physically
On Monday I am going to a doctor to begin a diet and wellness plan. I am ready to make changes in my life. I am so tired of giving myself away. Since my daughter was born about 11 years ago, I realize I gave little pieces of myself to my husband. Slowly, slowly, I gave him my self-worth, my self esteem, my self respect. Until there's nothing left. I am getting stronger now. I want to get fit and strong and healthy before I file for divorce. I don't love my husband and I don't respect him either. We have been nothing more than roommates the past three years. Maybe he's cheating on me. I frankly don't care. In fact, if he has someone to go to it will make it do much easier for me when I do file for divorce.

Planning Your Divorce
Getting a divorce is not always easy. In fact, I personally think it is never easy. It's not easy for the people going through it and it's not easy for any children who are involved. Women can especially get short changed. Therefore, I am going to be sure to make the most out of my divorce.
I'm fortunate that I am not in an abusive relationship. Also, my husband has a good job and earns a decent salary. Unfortunately, he has also decided to be celibate. He hasn't touched me in three years. His partner in bed has become Rosie Palms and he is content. I, on the other hand (no pun intended), am not. Since I am not into celibacy and never have been, I intend to divorce my husband as soon as it is feasible.
My dear father used to say, "You need to pick the pear when it's ripe." I need to prepare myself before I file for divorce. I am getting my finances together and my affairs in order. In the state where I live I need to be at least 50 years old to collect maintenance or alimony for the rest of my life. Currently, I am 48. Why forfeit all that money for the comfort of great sex? I'd rather wait till I'm 50, collect the money and enjoy myself for the next 30 or 40 years.
I have been married over twenty years. I believe I am entitled to half of everything my husband has since I live in a community property state. I can't wait to leave him. Each day reminds me that I am one day closer to my goal.
